The Miracle Ranch Healing Retreat in Yulong, Yunnan

Overview

The Miracle Ranch is a place born from love. It is home to retired horses, each carrying their own story of injury, illness, or exhaustion. Here, they are no longer asked to perform, obey, or live up to anyone’s expectations. They wander freely, rest deeply, and heal in their own time—not because they are forced to change, but because they are finally allowed to simply exist. And as you step onto the same land, you are invited to do the same.

This four-day, three-night healing retreat is not built around a fixed schedule. There is nothing you must do and nowhere you must be. Your only task is to be present.

  • No riding, only presence: Walk the same ground as these retired horses, and feel what it is to be at peace.

  • A private room in a secluded land—no outside visitors, only your own stillness.

  • A welcome from the host, who will share the heart of this place.

  • No set schedule. Every invitation is yours to accept or quietly set aside.

  • About the Journey

We believe that to truly love a horse is not to ride it.

It is to share, the same field, the same breeze, the same falling sun.

We believe that healing is not something done to you—it is something allowed.

To be, exactly as you are.

Here, nature will heal you the same way as she heals these horses.

You need not do anything. Only let yourself wander. Let yourself breathe. Let yourself be.

  • About the Ranch

You will stay at a private ground—a land that belongs only to you, the horses, the mountain, and the sky.

    There is no fixed path.

Every moment is yours to follow or let go, as your heart wishes.

The host will welcome you personally.

A private butler and a driver will be at your call, so that you may truly, fully, let go.

Essential Packing List

  • Comfortable clothes for moving around in — soft, loose layers you can lounge, stroll, and nap in.

  • Clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty — you'll be walking on grass, and lying on the grassy hillside is always welcomed. Grass stains are a small price for a quiet afternoon under the sky.

  • Sun protection — the UV at Yulong Snow Mountain is strong, even when the air feels cool. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

  • Warmer layers for nighttime — temperatures drop at high altitude. This is especially important if you'd like to go stargazing or watch the sunrise. A cozy jacket, warm socks, or a blanket will keep you comfortable.

  • Lighter clothes for midday — when the sun is high and bright, you'll want something breathable and cool.
